PROFETIA — CAN YOU CHANGE WHAT IS WRITTEN?

At an old Amphitheatre somewhere in the harsh Northwest parts of Copenhagen, Sofie Jensen burns everything she's ever written. What she doesn't know yet is that her unpublished novels will come to life out in the city. One by one these characters are drawn to the fire to meet their own story. Can they change what's written or will they fail?

KISSES BEFORE THE RAIN
Ruth Popovic loses her husband and almost loses her own life in a drowning accident. After her Near-Death-Experience she's gifted with the ability to hear what other people think. But how can you love, when you can hear everybody's thoughts? She meets the composer Casper, who can finally hear the music again whenever she's near him.. But is it her or the inspiration he really wants?

THE HATER & HIS CHILD This day Ruth also meets Tom, a bitter man, with hatred in his heart, ever since love disappeared many years ago. Now he's back in town to set things straight; and toask for forgiveness of his son, Johnny. But Johnny is tied to his wheelchair and has inherited hatred and rage. Tom & Ruth take out on a journey to find a certain Sofie Jensen.

THAT DAMNED LOVE
And Sofie, her love for Tom keeps on living in her novels; but reality is something else, and this has consequences for herself and for her daughter Eva. Today Eva will marry her new love, Max. The past is haunting her with the memories of her ex-husband, Lars Hviid. This Self-Help Guru will have his big comeback show today and he intends to base it entirely on Ruth Popovics Near-death-experience. He tries to fill the big emptiness in life with sex - but he will be confronted with his own ”unique transfiguration”.

Eventually, all these characters cross each others paths, filled with love, deception and magic.
